Oceans of Possibilities Englewood Library Summer reading Program

Oceans of Possibilities: Summer Reading
for Pre-K/4 to Grade 6

Children entering Pre-K/4 through Grade 6 in the Fall may register in the Children’s Room and get their first prizes: a drawstring bag and a brag tag with a necklace. Record the number of minutes you read and visit the library each week to report your reading and choose your beads. Log at least once to get a free book at the end of the summer.
Summer Reading runs from June 29 through August 12, 2022.

Read to a Therapy Dog at Englewood Library

Read to a Dog
Tuesdays, June 21  and July 12
4-5 PM
Children ages 4 and up may practice their reading skills with a trained therapy dog. Must register in advance for a time slot.

Grab and Go Craft kids for kids

Grab and Go Crafts
Mondays, June 27 to August 15

Children in Grades K to 6 may stop by the Children’s Room for a craft or activity kit. One per family, while supplies last.

Summer Outdoor Storytime at Englewood Library

Ages 0 to 5 may register for the summer session of outdoor storytime. Please bring a blanket and dress for the weather.

Children all ages welcome. Kids can pick up their “I Spy” checklists from the Children’s desk.

Family Puzzle Night competition at the library

Families will compete against each other to be the fastest to finish a 200 piece puzzle! Registration is required. Family groups may contain up to 5 people, and no more than 2 adults.

Learn about Service Dogs

Learn About Service Dogs

Ages 5 & up
Meet Caryl Swain and three Canine Companion dogs. Learn about what it takes to train a Service dog & see some of the commands they can perform. Even feed one a treat! This is a program for the whole family to enjoy.

Summer Series Outdoor Performances at the Englewood Library

Summer Series

Kids ages 4 and up may join us on the front lawn Wednesdays at 4:00 PM for a special performance. Weather permitting.
