Join the Summer Reading Program
Children entering Pre-K (age 4) to Grade 6 may register at the library and get their first prize: a brag tag with a necklace or keychain.

Log Your Reading
Record the number of minutes you read on a paper log, online, or download the READsquared app.

Collect Your Prizes
Visit the library each week (preferably Monday – Friday) to report your reading. Log your reading at least once to get a free book at the end of the summer. Show your log to a librarian and choose your beads. The last day to report your reading is August 13.

Read and Bead Levels:
10 minutes = solid color bead
30 minutes = glitter or opal bead
1 hour = letter bead
2 hours = metallic star bead

Level up, or trade up your beads through the summer. For example, if you read 30 minutes you can get 3 solid beads, or 1 glitter bead, or trade in 3 solid beads for 1 glitter bead!
