Virtual Summer Reading Program: June 15 – August 15, 2020

Summer Reading 2020

Readers and pre-readers entering Grades Pre-K to Grade 6 are encouraged to read 1,000 minutes over the summer. Read any books you like. Then log the number of minutes you read online using READsquared.


  1. Go to , or download the READsquared app.
  2. Click Register to create an account. Families can create an account for each child who will be logging their reading.
  3. Save account username and password information.
  4. Click Log Reading and enter the number of minutes read and the book title. You can log as often as you like, but we recommend once a week.
  5. Click Submit


Kids can also participate in weekly activities to earn points.

  1. After logging into READsquared, click the Missions tab on the left.
  2. Complete activity.
  3. When finished with the activity, click Complete Now and enter the appropriate value.
  4. Get points!
